Make sure you maximise your local web traffic by correctly setting up your business address details in Google Plus My Business Pages.
When you edit your business address you are offered the option to select ‘I deliver goods and services to my customers at their location’. If you tick this option you will see additional options to enter postcodes or an area around your business location. If you want to make sure your business has the best chance of showing on google services enter a distance which truly reflects the local area you want to cover.
Google is less likely to show your business in local results if no distance is selected, or you have entered one which covers too small an area.
The distance should reflect where your customers could be located, and not where you are willing to travel, since your business may not involve the need for you to travel to customer or client locations.
Your business information can be used to appear on Google Search, Google Maps, and Google+, and it is totally free to set up, so you will be missing out on valuable additional local enquiries if you have not modified the address settings on your Google My Business page.
